Trademark watch on the INPI Gazette (RPI)

Prices in Brazilian reais (BRL) · one-off R$ 149 · watch R$ 29/month or R$ 229/year · all services

Every Tuesday, the INPI publishes the Revista da Propriedade Industrial (RPI) with every ruling on every trademark process in Brazil. Since the unified 2025 fee table made the first decade and the registration certificate free, more marks are being filed — and every mark is a target for conflicts that show up first as a gazette entry.

We read the structured XML of every edition and check it against the marks you monitor: your processes, and names similar to yours filed by third parties. When something relevant appears — opposition, notification, filing, lapse, grant — you get a report by e-mail with the entries and what they mean. This is a data service: we are not lawyers and we make no legal claims; your attorney decides what each entry means for you.

What the watch includes — 4 items

  1. Every RPI edition, parsed from the official XML — not a manual lookup of one process number: the whole gazette is scanned against your vocabulary.
  2. Alert by e-mail on relevant entries for the monitored mark: filings by third parties with similar names, oppositions, notifications, expirations, grants.
  3. Monthly summary of everything published about your mark, even in quiet months, so you know the watch is running.
  4. Report you can forward to your lawyer — process number, section, ruling code and date for each entry.

What this is not

We do not file oppositions, we do not represent you before the INPI, and we do not interpret law. We deliver the data layer: what was published, when, about what. The decision on what to do with it belongs to you and your counsel.
